A "Build to Suit" is the term coined by the construction industry used to describe when a new building/home is designed and constructed to meet the buyer's specific needs. As a Build to Suit
we offer all of the following options for our new custom home buyers: The Build to Suit Process BUDGET - Perform a market analysis of available land and develop a budget for your new custom home. Please note that market conditions change rapidly and property values adjust accordingly. PLANS - Develop a custom house plan that meets your architectural requirements, aesthetically and functionally, and is tailored to fit your budget. PROPERTY - Once a custom home plan is selected we can help you find a country property to fit your custom home. At this point you would enter into a purchase contract for a piece of land. For this step we would also retain the services of a real estate agent and a construction lending company/bank. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - During the property escrow we will finalize the custom home plans, engineering, bidding, etc. and submit for a permit. At this time we would enter into a construction contract for the new custom home. Before the construction loan can be obtained all of the construction documents must be submitted to the construction lending company/bank. CONSTRUCTION - After all the proper permits are received and the loan is funded construction will commence. As the building progresses we will continually meet with our new home owners to review the work completed and discuss the upcoming work. Our new owners will be selecting the exterior and interior colors, the specific flooring materials, tiles, finishes, fixtures, etc. throughout the construction of your new custom home. 5 to 10 months (depending on the size/scale) after the foundation begins you will be moving into your new custom home!
